The sci-fi novel THE KAIJU PRESERVATION SOCIETY, which I checked out a copy of from my local library, was a fun romp. If you enjoy kaiju (think Godzilla), or even if that’s not really your thing, this is a light, entertaining, and quick read. Author John Scalzi’s narrative is scant on description but substantive with amusing banter.
